ISRAELI Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned Iran, emphasizing Israel’s military reach as tensions rise following airstrikes on Hezbollah in Lebanon.
On September 30, Netanyahu emphasized that,
“There is no place in Iran that the long arm of Israel cannot reach and that’s, true of the entire Middle East far from being lambs led to the slaughter Israel’s soldiers have put back with incredible courage and with heroic sacrifice and I have another message for this assembly and for the world outside this hall we are winning,” said Benjamin Netanyahu, Israeli Prime Minister.
Directly addressing the people of Iran and cautioning them against their leadership’s actions, which he claims are pushing the middle east into deeper chaos and violence. He urged Iranians to resist their government’s oppressive rule.
The escalation comes after a series of airstrikes conducted by Israel over the past week, focusing on the “axis of resistance,” a coalition of Iran-backed militant groups operating in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Yemen.
One of the most significant developments occurred on September 27 when Israeli airstrikes in Beirut killed Hassan Nasrallah, the long-time leader of Hezbollah, a group heavily supported by Iran. Alongside Nasrallah, Iranian Quds Force Commander Abbas Nilforoushan was also killed, prompting vows of retaliation from Iran.
In a video address, Netanyahu expressed hope for a future where Iran is free from its current leadership, suggesting that change may come sooner than many expect. He expressed optimism that Israel and Iran could one day exist peacefully, with a prosperous Iran emerging once its theocratic regime ends.
