NOW at Phase IV of the construction works; the six-storey Academic Building for the new Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) Caloocan North Campus, being conducted by the Department of Public Works and Highways – Metro Manila 3rd District Engineering Office nears completion.
The building project is initiated to accommodate the growing number of enrollees, and replace the outdated facilities of the PUP Caloocan Campus at Rainbow Five, Barangay 168, Deparo, Caloocan City.
Aside from being the first state university built in the CAMANAVA area, the completion of this project offers significant improvements to the school’s infrastructure, increasing the number of colleges in the city, and the courses offered by the school. Through the additional educational facilities, the university will offer undergraduate and graduate courses, short-term programs, and the conduct of research and extension services that include open distance learning.
With the new campus development underway, the DPWH-NCR is committed to providing a modern and sustainable learning environment to support the PUP’s infrastructure needs for its students and faculty.
