New York experiences Pasko the Pinoy way

THE Philippine Department of Tourism– New York (PDOT-NY) brought ‘Paskong Pinoy’ to Long Island, NY last December 14 to 15 at The Pond, letting the city discover the essence of Pinoy Christmas.

A Love the Philippines activation unwrapped more holiday delight as attendees were enticed to Pinoy Christmas-themed activities like parol-making workshops, photo booth, tasting Pinoy delicacies from local vendors, and watching Filipino cultural performances – all capturing the spirit of the merry season just how Filipinos celebrate it.

“Through this activation, we aim to foster connections with Filipino-Americans and introduce non-Filipinos to the warmth and vibrancy of our culture,” PDOT-NY Tourism Attaché Francisco Lardizabal explained.

‘Paskong Pinoy’ is yet another festive effort by the Philippine Department of Tourism to share the many reasons to #LoveThePhilippines.  #DOTPhilippines #BagongPilipinas
