THE Philippine Navy, through the Naval Information and Communications Technology Center (NICTC), successfully hosted a charity movie block screening, featuring Disney’s “Mufasa: The Lion King,” on December 18, 2024 at Ayala Malls Manila Bay.
The event is part of the NICTC’s pre-anniversary celebration leading up to its 28th Founding Anniversary on January 16, 2025. Proceeds will support St. Isidore the Farmer Parish in Gigmoto, Catanduanes, to aid families affected by Typhoon Pepito through home repairs and livelihood restoration.
Through the collective generosity of NICTC personnel, Philippine Navy units, stakeholders, sponsors, and donors, the screening became a meaningful occasion to bring hope to a rural farming and fishing community still recovering from disaster.
