STEVEN was given a wheelchair Steven, 10 years old and resident of Sumilao, Bukidnon was born with physical disability. Because of this he can’t walk and talk.
Despite his disability, his family is determined that Steven can study for his future.
His sister is carrying him from their house to Kisolon Central Elementary School eight kilometers away.
To ease the suffering of the siblings, Steven’s teacher Ma’am Lucresia dropped by the Office of the Vice President (OVP) to request wheelchair assistance for Steven.
Through the leadership of OVP Davao Satellite Office, Steven was given a wheelchair. On top of that, he also received a PagbaAGo bag with only dental kit and school supplies.
OVP recognizes Ma’am Lucresia’s concern and love shown to Steven. This is just one proof of the strength and love of our teachers for our Filipino youth.
