BILANG bahagi ng PagbaBAGo: A Million Trees Campaign ng Office of the Vice President (OVP), umabot sa 1,000 mangrove propagules ang naitanim sa coastal area ng Barangay Poblacion, Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro nitong October 17, 2024.
Lumahok sa aktibidad ang 100 planters at volunteers mula sa iba’t ibang organisasyon tulad ng Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO), Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) Sablayan, 405th BMC Regional Mobile Force Battalion, Women’s Mobile Vendors Association, Women’s Farmers, DepEd Sablayan, at Samahan ng Matyagang Mangingisda (SAMAMA) Poblacion.
Sa pamamagitan ng PagbaBAGo Campaign, layunin ng OVP na magtanim ng isang milyong puno sa buong bansa at mapangalagaan ang kalikasan para sa mga susunod na henerasyon.
