PAF chief visits Air Force units in Western Mindanao

THE Commanding General of the Philippine Air Force, LTGEN STEPHEN P PARREÑO PAF, visited the Tactical Operations Squadron at Mapun Island, Tawi-Tawi, and the Air Combat Command (ACC) at Edwin Andrews Air Base, Zamboanga City, on December 16, 2024, to extend his holiday greetings and bid farewell ahead of his upcoming retirement.

During his visit to these Air Force Units, LTGEN PARREÑO expressed his heartfelt gratitude to both TOS Mapun and ACC personnel for their exemplary service and tireless dedication in fulfilling their duties. He commended their unwavering commitment to strengthening the PAF’s operational capabilities and furthering its vision of becoming a sustainable and agile force.

Through these visits, the CG, PAF reinforced his commitment to recognizing and appreciating the invaluable contributions of PAF personnel, particularly those stationed in remote and challenging areas like Mapun Island and Zamboanga City.
