THE Philippine Air Force (PAF) kicked off the year 2025 with its traditional New Year’s Call, held at the PAF Gymnasium, Col Jesus Villamor Air Base, Pasay City, on January 6, 2025.
The event was hosted by the Commanding General of the PAF, Lieutenant General Arthur M. Cordura PAF, and his spouse, Mrs. Christine Cordura.
This annual New Year’s Call provides PAF personnel with an opportunity to personally greet their Commander, reinforcing the core values of the military profession, fostering unity and camaraderie, and reaffirming the Command’s commitment to serving the nation.
The occasion was attended by distinguished guests, including Air Force Unit Commanders, Senior Officers assigned at the General Headquarters, Wing Reserve Commanders, members of the HPAF Staff, Commanders of Air Force Wide-Support and Separate Units and Tactical Operations Group, and Senior Enlisted Personnel.
In his speech, the CG, PAF expressed gratitude for the collective efforts and sacrifices made by every member of the Air Force in the past year. Reflecting upon the significant accomplishments achieved in 2024, he emphasized the importance of maintaining momentum as they move forward into 2025.
“This journey demands unity and shared purpose. Our collective strength as guardians of the skies and bearers of hope lies in our ability to work together, remaining steadfast in our mission and loyal to our flag and constitution,” the Commanding General stated.
He underscored that the challenges ahead require not only skill and courage but also a steadfast commitment to the ideals of service and patriotism.
The Air Force remains steadfast in its pledge to uphold its duty to the Filipino people, ensuring the continued safety and security of the country. With this renewed sense of unity and shared mission, the PAF stands ready to face the challenges of 2025.
