HINDI nagawang mailabas ngayong araw ng Biyernes ang resulta ng pangalawang autopsiya sa bangkay ng sinasabing middleman sa Percy Lapid Slay na si Jun Globa Villamor.
Humirit kasi ng isa pang araw o extension si Forensic Expert Dr. Raquel Fortun, kay Justice Sec. Boying Remulla.
Si Fortun ang nanguna sa pagsusuri sa bangkay.
Dapat ngayong araw ng Biyernes lalabas ang pangalawang autopsy report pero dahil sa kahilingan ni Fortun ay maaring bukas na lamang makakapagpalabas ng resulta nito.
“Dr. Fortun is asking for one more day so tomorrow we will be releasing the report that Dr. Fortun will coming up with. She just asking for a bit more time to come up with the full report,” pahayag ni Asec. Atty. Mico Clavano, spokesperson ng DOJ.
“Dr. Raquel Fortun is just being deligent in her work so that she can come up with the report that is complete and thorough,” dagdag ni Clavano.
Si Sec. Remulla, sinabi na dahil na rin may iba pang trabaho si Fortun kaya hindi agad ito nakapagpalabas ng report ngayon.
“The busy people are also they have other work to do. That is not the only thing that they are doing di ba? She is the head of Pathology Department of the Philippine General Hospital,” pahayag ni Remulla.
Ang second at independent autopsy sa bangkay ng middleman ay hiniling ng Mabasa Family sa DOJ.
Hindi kasi sila kumbinsido sa initial autopsy report na lumabas mula sa NBI kung saan lumabas na natural death ang ikinamatay ng middleman.
Pinagbigyan ng ahensya ang Mabasa Family para magkaroon ng transparent at patas na imbestigasyon sa pagkamatay ng middleman.
Si Remulla naman ang nakiusap kay Dr. Fortun para isagawa ang pangalawang autopsiya.
“So, we ask for her help to make sure things are transparent and fair to everybody concern and that was the request of the Mabasa Family. So, we acceded to the request and we made an effort and it was done. The body was brought to the PGH and the second autopsy was conducted,” dagdag ni Remulla.
Samantala, isinaad naman ni Clavano nailipat na rin sa kustodiya ng NBI ang pang limang persons of interest sa pagkamatay ng Middleman.
Ang naturang person of interest ay nilipat mula sa Intelligence Service of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
“Around midnight na-transfer ‘yun. So, today there will be an investigation and question and answer hopefully we get his statement as well,” ani Clavano.
Matatandaan na Kahapon, ay may nauna ng apat na persons of interest na dinala sa NBI.
Sila ay mga inmate mula sa New Bilibid Prison at nakapagbigay na ng kanilang mga testimonya.
Kahapon ng sinimulan ng NBI at PNP ang joint inveatigation hinggil sa pagkamatay ng middleman.
“Yesterday is the first time that the PNP and the NBI came together to perform an investigation jointly. So, I think we’re on to something, these stories made clear but of course again we have to be cautious because we don’t want to jump in any conclusions. It’s very possible that we’re also being led to a certain story but as a matter of fact there are the things that we have to consider,” dagdag ni Clavano.
