MARIING kinondena ng pamunuan ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ang nangyaring pananambang sa ilang tauhan ng PNP Provincial Mobile Force Company ng Maguindanao del Sur habang ang mga ito ay nagsasagawa ng routinary mobile patrol.
Ayon kay PNP chief Police General Benjamin Acorda Jr., lubos ang kanilang pagkalungkot sa nangyari kasabay ng pagsisiguro na gagawin nila ang lahat na mahuli ang sinumang nasa likod ng nasabing ambush.
“The men and women of the Philippine National Police show grief over the untimely passing of our two police non-commissioned officers and wounding of four other PNCOs stationed in Maguindanao PPO Headquarters, Camp Batu Akilan, Shariff Aguak, Maguindao del Sur in an ambush staged by still unknown assailants on Wednesday night,” pahayag ni PGen. “Our heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family of the late Pat Saipoden Shiek Macacuna and Pat Bryan D. Polayagan, both assigned at PMFC Maguindanao del Sur. We assure you that the PNP will do everything within its power and authority to serve the ends of justice for Pat Macacuna and Pat Polayagan’s death and wounding of Pat Arjie Val Loie C Pabinguit, Pat Abdulgafor Alib, PSSG Benjie delos Reyes, and PCMs Rey Vincent B. Gertos,” dagdag ni Acorda.
Dalawang pulis ang nasawi sa naturang ambush Miyerkules ng gabi.
Kinilala ang mga ito na sina Pat. Saiponden Shiek Macacuna at Pat. Bryan Polayagan habang sugatan naman sina Pat. Arjie Val Loie C. Pabinguit, Pat. Abdulgafor Alib, PSSG Benjie delos Reyes, PCMS Rey Vincent B. Gertos.
PNP, ipinag-utos ang hot pursuit operations laban sa mga nasa likod ng ambush sa Maguindanao del Sur
Sa ngayon, nagsasagawa na ng malalimang imbestigasyon at hot pursuit operations ang PRO Bangsamoro Autonomous Region para madakip ang mga suspek sa pagpatay sa dalawang pulis at sa mga kasamahan nito.
Agad ding inatasan ang Police Regional Office Bangsamoro Autonomous Region katuwang ang iba pang police commands na tugisin at matukoy sa lalong madaling panahon ang pagkakakilanlan ng mga nasa likod ng pagpatay.
“We trust that PRO BAR, thru the joint efforts of PMFC MDS PPO and 41st SAC PNP SAF is now seriously engaged in extensive investigation and hot pursuit operations to identify and immediately arrest the gunmen who killed the 2 patrolmen and wounded the four other PNP personnel,” ani Acorda.
Sinisikap din ng mga awtoridad na hindi na ito mauulit sa pamamagitan ng pakikipagtulungan ng lahat na huwag mamayagpag ang ganitong uri ng krimen saan mang komunidad sa bansa.
“This inhumane act of the unidentified suspects while our personnel are conducting routinary mobile patrol to ensure the safety and security of everybody, is a loud call to the community that we should work hand-in-hand to eradicate this kind of criminal act,” dagdag ni Acorda.
Tiniyak din ni Maranan ang pagkakaloob ng nararapat ng tulong sa pamilya ng mga nasawi at nasugatan na pulis sa lugar kasabay ng pangako na hindi nila ito titigilan hanggat walang napapanagot sa nasabing krimen.
“While this untoward incident progresses, the PNP is extending all possible assistance to the families of Pat. Macacuna and Pat. Polayagan including administrative processes required for the immediate release of benefits and other financial claims, relatively, all medical attention needed are provided to the wounded personnel for their fast recovery,” aniya.
“This case will not go unsolved; punishment is certain for those responsible for this heinous crime,” pagtatapos ni Acorda.
