THE Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) and Philippine Army (PA) have enhanced collaboration and joint operations in South Eastern Mindanao.
This occurred during the courtesy visit of Coast Guard District South Eastern Mindanao (CGDSEM) Commander, CG Commodore Rejard Marfe, to 10th Infantry Division Commander, Major General Allan Hambala, in Mawab, Davao De Oro, yesterday, 23 April 2024.
The CGDSEM said the meeting underscored the importance of fostering strong interagency relationships between the PCG and PA in addressing security challenges in the region.
Aside from enhancing collaboration and joint operations, the officials also discussed intelligence sharing to bolster their effectiveness in safeguarding the nation’s territorial waters and land areas, reaffirming their shared commitment to national security.
