PHILIPPINE Coast Guard (PCG) Commandant, CG Admiral Ronnie Gil Gavan, and Cagayan Third District Representative Joseph Lara presided over the groundbreaking ceremony of Coast Guard District North Eastern Luzon (CGDNELZN) three-storey at Carig Satellite Building, Carig Sur, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan yesterday, 11 April 2024.
CGDNELZN Commander, CG Captain Ludovico Librilla Jr also graced the event.
During the ceremony, Congressman Lara emphasized that he intends to gradually fill the vacant space in the regional offices to bring prosperity not just for the CGDNELZN, but for all of residents of Cagayan.
For his part, CG Admiral Gavan expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Congressman Lara for supporting the PCG in realizing our goal of obtaining a more dignified and more suitable home in this region.
“You did not only provide us a solution, but you also provided us a way to be resilient. Thank you for this gift of home so we can do better for the families here,” CG Admiral Gavan stated.
