PCG hosts Information Drive and Public Consultation at National Headquarters

THE Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) hosted an information drive and public consultation at the National Headquarters, Port Area, Manila yesterday, 03 June 2024.

UNILAB presented the “Tamang Alaga” advocacy that aims to connect individuals to reliable health information sources and ensure easy access to high-quality and cost-effective medicines for various health conditions.

Moreover, Mount Grace Hospital Inc. discussed the proposed medical service partnership between the PCG and Mount Grace Hospital Inc. She highlighted plans to provide PCG personnel with easy access to hospital services 24/7 at negotiated rates and discounts.

Approximately 100 PCG personnel received free medical services, such as blood sugar test, blood pressure checks, and blood typing, among others.

The Manila Medical Center, Fe Del Mundo Medical Center, Victor R. Potenciano Medical Center, and Capitol Medical Center Incorporation, Office of the Command Master Chief and Coast Guard Medical Service also supported the initiative.

Flag Secretary for Operations, CG Commander Jethro Padama; Command Master Chief PCG, CG First Master Chief Petty Officer Virgilio Casamar; Assistant Command Master Chief for Operations, CG Master Chief Petty Officer Orlando Baldovino and Assistant Command Master Chief for Admin and Support Units, CG Senior Chief Petty Officer Ricky Unay were also present during the said undertaking.
