THE Coast Guard District Southern Visayas has been actively engaged in providing assistance to affected communities and continues to work closely with local government units and disaster response agencies to monitor the situation and respond promptly to any arising needs. Also, additional personnel and resources have been deployed and mobilized to strengthen efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of the residents in the affected areas.
In collaboration with local government units and relevant agencies, the CGDSV has undertaken the evacuation support, facilitated the transport of relief goods, and delivered medical supplies and essential equipment to evacuation sites and affected areas.
The Coast Guard District Southern Visayas remains on high alert, ready to respond to further developments, and reaffirms its dedication to serving the community and protecting lives and property.
