THE Philippines and Singapore took a significant step towards bolstering their defense partnership, as Secretary of National Defense Gilberto C. Teodoro, Jr. signed the Philippines-Singapore Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Defense Cooperation with Singapore Minister of Defense Dr. Ng Eng Hen in Singapore in July.
The MOU aims to enhance collaboration in defense policy, information sharing, education and training exchanges, service-to-service engagements, among others.
