THE Philippine Navy held a donning of ranks ceremony for three newly promoted senior enlisted personnel, presided over by the Flag Officer In Command, Philippine Navy, Rear Adm. Jose Ma Ambrosio Ezpeleta, on January 8, 2025, at the Navy Headquarters.
Promoted to Master Chief Petty Officer (MCPO) were MCPO Janiry Oigoan, Naval Forces Northern Luzon; MCPO Reynaldo Tapec, Naval Sea Systems Command; and MCPO Edwin Torre, Naval Forces Western Mindanao. All three serve as Command MCPOs in their respective units.
“Sa ating mga promotees, MCPO Janiry Oigoan, MCPO Reynaldo Tapec, at MCPO Edwin Torre, inaasahan ko ang inyong mahigpit na pagtangan sa mga responsibilidad na ito, lalo na bilang tagapayo at gabay sa inyong mga kasamahan. Hindi lamang sa ating mga polisiya at programa kundi pati na rin sa kanilang personal at propesyonal na pag-unlad. Tiwala ako sa inyong kakayahan na itaguyod ang moral, disiplina, at kapakanan ng bawat miyembro ng ating Hukbong Dagat,” Rear Adm. Ezpeleta said in his message to the newly promoted personnel.
This promotion recognizes the outstanding service and leadership of MCPO Oigoan, MCPO Tapec, and MCPO Torre. Their dedication to guiding their units and upholding the Navy’s core values continues to strengthen the organization’s commitment to excellence and mission readiness.
