REPRESENTING the Philippine Navy Flag Officer in Command, Captain Clyde Domingo, Commanding Officer of the BRP Antonio Luna FF151 – PF welcomed the French Navy delegates from the Marine nationale frigate Bretagne (D655), headed by its Commanding Officer, Captain Gwenegan Le Bourhis, during their visit to the PN headquarters on May 31.
Both navies discussed the shared objectives to strengthen ties and enhance both nations’ capabilities, with the French Navy expressing its support for the ongoing modernization efforts of the PN.
The French Navy is currently in the country for a goodwill visit, which demonstrates the enduring friendship and strategic alliance between the Philippines and France as they pursue their commitment to regional stability and security.
