Philippine Women’s Lacrosse Team secures spot in 2026 World Championship

THE Philippine Women’s Lacrosse Team books a ticket to the 2026 World Championship after clinching two dominating wins at the Asia-Pacific Lacrosse Championship in Queensland, Australia.

Our national women’s team joined their first-ever Asia-Pacific Lacrosse Championship, a qualifying tournament for the 2026 World Lacrosse Women’s Championships, which will be held in Tokyo, Japan. The team defeated China (15-3) and Hong Kong (14-2) on the first two days of the competition.

The team also secured a final four finish after defeating two of their opponents in Pool A and will head to the semifinals. The country’s last match is tomorrow against Australia, which will determine the top spot in their pool.
