THE Philippine National Police (PNP) will resume war-on-drugs once the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) ends in Metro Manila and other parts of the country on May 15.
PNP spokesperson Brigadier General Bernard Banac said
They will again pay attention to the war on drugs after their focus was loosen because of the COVID-19 threat to the country.
He said the PNP is also expecting an increase in crimes including illegal drugs once the ECQ is over so the police are ready for it.
Banac, meanwhile, reported
the incidence of illegal drugs was not high in the wake of the ECQ than in the period before the coronavirus struck.
