DEPARTMENT of Tourism (DOT) Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco on Friday (Jan. 10) joined Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano, sports patron Manuel V. Pangilinan, and other sports officials for the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the new Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) headquarters in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
The ribbon-cutting was followed by the executive board meeting of the FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship Philippines 2025 Local Organizing Committee (LOC), with Secretary Frasco presiding as Co-Chair of the committee.
The meeting brought together key volleyball figures, including PNVF President Ramon “Tats” Suzara, Philippine Olympic Committee President Abraham Tolentino, and Philippine Sports Commission Chairman Richard Bachmann, to finalize preparations for the highly anticipated global event.
Set to take place from September 12 to 28, 2025, in Pasay and Quezon City, the FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship represents a significant opportunity to showcase the Philippines as a premier sports tourism destination.
