PHILIPPINE Sports Commission Comm. Edward Hayco led the Zamboanga Peninsula Regional Athletic Association Refresher Training Course over the weekend.
Around 1,200 attendees from the Private Schools Athletic Association, DepEd, and State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (SCUAA) merged in the session that aims to leverage the skills of technical officials.
The oversight commissioner for the grassroots initiative program of the agency also made a courtesy visit to Zamboanga City Mayor John Dalipe.
Mayor Dalipe expressed his full support to the sports development program of his place that produced the first-ever Olympic gold medalist of the country, Hidilyn Diaz.
