JUST several days after claims that Russian President Vladimir Putin had suffered a cardiac arrest and were later dismissed as fake news, rumors circulated that Putin is dead, again.
This is after another telegram channel has claimed that Putin passed away and a coup is underway in Moscow.
The rumor comes after previous claims by the channel that Putin had suffered a heart attack and was found lying on the floor with his eyes rolling, and that he had to be resuscitated.
The Telegram channel, Generalsvr, is known to spread misinformation about the Kremlin and Putin and has countless times claimed that the 71-year-old Russian president is either dead, sick or that a body double is being used to carry on the ruse of stability of the Russian government.
But various media reports have picked up the information, which is why the Kremlin issued another statement.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told Russian state media that reports of Putin suffering a heart attack or a coup in the country were absurd information.
