CHEF Patrick Co of The Fat Cow & Asian Cow restaurants had the honor of catering Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy‘s birthday celebration.
For Chef Patrick Co, cooking is not just about making elaborate dishes with expensive ingredients. Instead, he believes that the best dishes are often the simplest, using the freshest and highest quality ingredients and prepared with skill and care.
This philosophy was on full display at Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy’s birthday celebration, where Chef Patrick Co and his team provided a menu of classic dishes executed to perfection.
According to Chef Patrick Co, Pastor Apollo requested simple but expertly prepared dishes, which allowed him to showcase his team’s skills and expertise in cooking.
“I was really surprised because what Pastor wanted was very simple. Simple but done right, that’s the right term. Our menu consisted of a combination of dishes from Fat Cow, my first restaurant, and Asian Cow, which serves modern Asian cuisine. Pastor selected from the options we presented him, and we collated everything to create the best of all worlds in terms of food. We had dishes that ranged from Chinese to Filipino to American to Western, so we had everything covered,” Chef Patrick Co, Owner, The Fat Cow & Asian Cow said.
Chef Patrick shared that catering for Pastor Apollo’s birthday was the biggest and most challenging, marking their first collaboration.
“This is the first time we catered for Pastor Apollo Quiboloy. It’s the biggest because there were so many dishes, really so many dishes. We have done for more people before because this one was lesser than our biggest catering, but this is the first time we prepared almost 25 main courses, and that’s just the main course. So, imagine the preparation and logistics, we were really challenged. But hopefully, it will bring joy to everybody because Pastor wants to give everything to our invited guests,” Co added.
Chef Patrick emphasized that Pastor wants the best food for his guests on his birthday.
“Pastor Apollo really wants the best of the best for the invitees today. So we kept on changing until we reached the point where we finally agreed on the menu and started the preparations,” he added.
“Our steak came from Australia and Japan. The Alaskan King Crab also came from Japan. We have abalones from China and clams from Vietnam. So as I mentioned earlier, we are sourcing ingredients from all around the world. We want to give the best to Pastor and to those who will be celebrating with him tonight,” Co said.
