UNITED States Representative of the 14th Congressional District of Georgia, Marjorie Taylor Greene has filed articles of impeachment against 5 federal government officials including President Joe Biden.
“The Constitution was written by men who believed in a God-fearing nation, provides the ultimate guide on how to govern a civil society. Every word was carefully chosen to give each branch of government the power to check and temper the other. These men knew that with unchecked power, any branch of government could lose sight of the job they were hired to do and become beholden solely to the power they wield. This is what has happened in America today. Power corrupts. The Biden administration is proof of it,” said Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.
On Thursday, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene made a public address announcing her filing of articles of impeachment on separate days this week against President Joe Biden and 4 other government officials.
Greene stressed that virtually every person involved in what she called a disturbing ‘America Last’ executive branch has weaponized their office to target their political opponents.
On Tuesday, the lawmaker submitted articles of impeachment against the US attorney for the District of Columbia, Matthew Graves for being derelict in his duty.
On the same day, Greene also filed articles of impeachment against FBI Director Christopher Wray, accusing him of turning the Federal Bureau of Investigation into the personal police force of Joe Biden and Attorney General Merrick Garland.
She added that Wray is using his power in a way that targets one political class while favoring another.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, Greene made a similar move against Attorney General Merrick Garland. Since Garland took over as attorney general,
“He has completely weaponized the Department of Justice under his control” and “it has become the Department of Injustice,” Greene said.
Following this, the lawmaker also introduced articles of impeachment against Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for allegedly aiding and abetting the complete invasion of the United States by deliberately flooding the nation with drugs, terrorists, and illegal aliens.
“It is with the highest amount of solemnity that I announce my intention to introduce articles of impeachment today on the head of this ‘America Last’ executive branch that has been working since January 20th, 2021 to systematically destroy this country – the President of the United States Joseph Robinette Biden,’’ Greene said.
“Biden has blatantly violated his constitutional duty and he is a direct threat to our national security. Therefore, Joseph Robinette Biden is unfit to serve as the President of the United States and must be impeached,” Greene added.
This was made on the basis that Biden allegedly refused to enforce Immigration laws to protect the country, allowed fentanyl to overwhelmingly flood into the United States, as well as accusing the Biden administration of forcing tens of thousands of children into slave labor.
Meanwhile, the White House has responded and condemned the statement of Greene, saying that,
“Biden is focused on issues that are important to the American people such as preventing House Republicans’ default that would crash the economy and protecting investments that create manufacturing jobs not silly political attacks,” said Ian Sams White House, Spokesperson for Oversight and Investigations.
