Signal No. 1 raised in Northern, Eastern Samar due to Tropical Storm Ambo

PAGASA has raised some parts of Northern and Eastern Samar to Signal Number 1 due to Tropical Storm Ambo.

 

The storm was last seen as of 4 am today at 410 km east of Borongan City, Eastern Samar.

 

Today cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are experienced in areas of Eastern Visayas.

 

While tomorrow on Thursday, moderate to heavy rainfall will occur in the Eastern Visayas, Catanduanes, Albay, Sorsogon, and Masbate.

 

Friday’s rain is expected in Metro Manila due to Typhoon Ambo.

 

Meanwhile, tropical wind signal number 1 was raised in northern parts of Eastern Samar including areas of Jipapad, Maslog, Arteche, San Policarpio, Oras, Dolores, Can-avid, Taft, Sulat, San Julian, Borongan City including the eastern portion of Norther Samar including Lapinig, Gamay, Mapanas, Palapag, Laoang, Catubig, Las Navas.
