DAHIL sa SMNI Debates mas nagiging madali para sa bawat Pilipino na malaman kung sino ang nararapat nilang iboto.
Ito ang binigyang diin ni Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy matapos ang unang bahagi ng SMNI Senatorial Debate.
Sa panayam sinabi ni Pastor Apollo na nagkaroon na ng batayan ang mga Pilipino kung sino ang dapat na iboto sa darating na halalan at tumaas na ang kaalaman ng mga Pilipino mula sa antas ng ignorant democracy patungo sa intellectual democracy.
‘’We should move on from ignorant democracy to intellectual and intelligent democracy, yan ang adhikain ko. And it was just a dream before, because the known media entities, just cater to the level of showbiz and entertainment, so that we are not able to produce leaders that are really on the level of statesmenm,” saad ng butihing pastor.
“I’m not degrading the present leadership because we also have good leaders like President Duterte and many others, but they did not shine. Only President Duterte really shone because of what he has done in six years. But it’s now high time for us to be able to ratchet up to the level of leadership in the Philippines to the intelligent democracy level where we are living in a modern, complex world, and the simple minded people will not be able to cope up with it because complex problems need to be solved by intelligent people with the understanding of, the complexity of our modern world, and the issues that we are facing,’’ dagdag nito.
Inihayag din ni Pastor Apollo na sa SMNI Senatorial Debate nalalaman ang lawak ng kaalaman at kakayahan ng mga magiging opisyal ng pamahalaan.
Matatandaang sa naganap na unang bahagi ng senatorial debate ng network ilan sa mga hindi popular na tumatakbong senador ang nabigyan ng pagkakataon na makilala ng mga Pilipino.
Paliwanag ng butihing pastor, hindi isinasagawa ng kanyang istasyon ang mga naturang debate para sa kasikatan o makipagkumpitensya, kundi upang mamulat at nang makita ng mga Pilipino ang tunay na dapat maglingkod sa bayan.
‘’Well, we did not fail the expectation of the people. We always wanted it to be the most excellent, and we try to not compete with others, we compete with ourselves, that we had to do better than what we have done before,” pahayag ni Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy.
“And that is what we are trying to do in all areas, in the audio, visual, in the quality of the panelists, and the quality also of the candidates who are not really frontliners, who are not really well known, but now they are being known for very intellectual and intelligent capacity to answer complex questions that concerns not only our domestic issues, in the Philippines, but also complex issues regarding international affairs and those are the kind of leaders we need even in the Senate,” dagdag ni Pastor Apollo.
Napanuod hindi lamang ng Pilipinas kundi ng buong mundo ang isinagawang Presidential at Senatorial Debates ng SMNI.
