IN celebration of Philippine Environment Month 2025, the DENR National Capital Region highlights the current state of solid waste generation in Metro Manila.
Every day, the region produces an estimated 10,000 tons of waste, mostly from households and commercial establishments.
Despite ongoing efforts, proper waste management remains a major challenge.
Together, we can protect Metro Manila’s environment and build a better future for all.
