CHINA expressed willingness to strengthen ties with Thailand after a bilateral meeting of ministers from both countries
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi welcomed visiting Thai Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Don Pramudwinai in Beijing for bilateral talks.
Wang declared China’s willingness to deepen cooperation in various fields with Thailand including the acceleration of construction of the China-Thailand Railway.
The Chinese Foreign Minister also expressed Beijing’s readiness to continue supporting ASEAN centrality.
Pramudwinai on the other hand hailed the very strong relationship between Thailand and China.
The Thai senior diplomat also affirmed the country’s support for regional security initiative known as the ASEAN outlook on the Indo-Pacific and the belt and road initiative, as well as commended steps taken by China to set an example for global development.
