THE City Government of Davao held a caravan of government services in Barangay Bato, Toril District last March 15, 2024. The event was in line with the celebration of the 44th Araw ng Barangay Bato.
The “Serbisyo Caravan” led by the City Mayor’s Office aims to bring government services closer to Dabawenyos, especially those living in far flung communities in the city. This was participated in by offices from the local government unit and various national agencies who rendered their services to the residents of Barangay Bato.
Participating offices and their services:
Social Security System (SSS)– Membership, contribution, web services and inquiries
Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA)– Education scholarship, training programs, and livelihood
Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD)- Sustainable livelihood program, social pension
Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PHILHEALTH) – Membership, Updating of Record, and Generating/ Issuance of Philhealth ID
Anti-Scam Unit – Cater problems who are victimized by scammers;
Paluwagan, Investment, Card skimming, Loan Scam, Phishing, Email Spoofing, Raw lots, etc.
Barangay & Cultural Communities Affairs Division – Lomi/Lugaw
City Agriculturist Office – Distribution of Vegetable Seedling
City Assessor’s Office – Land and Building Appraisal Services
City Cooperative Development Office – Cooperative Training Program, Enhanced Livelihood and Enterprise Assistance Program, Davao city Credit Surety Fund (DCCSF), Cooperative Primer, CDA Registration, Application, LGU Accreditation
City Civil Registrar’s Office – PSA, Birth Certificate requirements, Name/Gender Correction, Legitimation, Affidavit Using Surname of Father (AUSF), Death Certificates, other concerns.
City Environment & Natural Resources Office – Tree Planting- forest seedling, Beautification – ornamental plants, Tree Cutting Permit, Solid Waste Management.

City Treasurer’s Office – Payment and issuance of OR for police clearance.
City Transport and Traffic Management Office – Renewal of motorcycle for hire franchise, Body Number (New and Renewal).
City Veterinarian’s Office – Consultation and Vaccination, Deworming.
Educational Benefit System Unit – Information, Requirements for scholarship and financial assistance.

Office of Senior Citizen – Registration, Booklet, ID Issuance, Veterans Burial Assistance (World War II).
