The United States still tops COVID-19 deaths worldwide

THE United States still leads the rest of the world with the most number of recorded COVID-19 fatalities.

 

More than 145, 000 people worldwide have died of COVID-19 with the United States having the highest death toll.

 

The disease caused by the novel coronavirus has killed almost 35,000 people in the United States since February 29, when an old man in Seattle became the first announced U.S. death.

 

New York, the coronavirus epicenter in the US, leads the deaths with more than 16,000 according to Worldometer’s report.
