Former U.S. President Donald Trump has warned the public of death and destruction if he is indicted for allegedly instructing to pay hush money to Stormy Daniels.
With his potential indictment looming in Manhattan, New York, a series of social media posts were published by former U.S President Donald Trump, criticizing calls for peace and citing potential catastrophic death and destruction if he’s charged.
In a Truth Social post on Friday, Trump said,
“What kind of person can charge another person, in this case a former President of the United States… with a crime, when it is known by all that no crime has been committed.”
Trump is apparently referring to Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.
Although he did not mention anyone by name, the former U.S president claims that the person who he calls as a degenerate psychopath that truly hates the USA knows that potential death & destruction in such a false charge could be catastrophic for the country.
Trump’s grave threats comes after he suggested last week that he may soon be arrested by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office after he was officially invited to testify before a grand jury probe a legal case against him.
Trump’s case centers on his alleged payment of hush money of 130,000 U.S dollars to adult film star Stormy Daniels via his former lawyer Michael Cohen during the final stages of his 2016 presidential elections campaign.
It was suggested that the payment was intended to keep Stormy Daniels from talking about an alleged affair she had with the former U.S. President.
Trump has called his supporters to protest and take the country back if he is officially charged and arrested by the Manhattan D.A.
On the other hand, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has yet to release any confirmation or reports of a possible arrest.
It’s still unclear whether the grand jury will pursue an indictment of the former U.S. President.
