University of the Cordilleras spiced up the Philippine MICE Youth Challenge!

DURING the Philippine MICE Conference (MICECON) 2024, students from the University of the Cordilleras emerged as champions in the Philippine MICE Youth Challenge (PMYC) with their MICE proposal to mount a four-day conference on spices, SPICECON: Malembo Pampalasa.

As winners, the University of the Cordilleras received tokens and a cash prize from the Tourism Promotions Board Philippines. Meanwhile, the University of Santo Tomas and St. Paul University Iloilo clinched the first and second runner-up spots, respectively.

The PMYC aims to inspire creativity and excellence among participants, offering learning opportunities beyond the classroom while fostering relationships with industry leaders. This year’s competition also featured outstanding entries from De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde and Lipa City Colleges.
