BINIGYAN ang Villar Foundation sa pamamagitan ni Sen. Cynthia Villar ng “Sec. Susan ‘Toots’ Ople Service Award” dahil sa pagiging partner na naging malaking bahagi sa buhay ng ating migrant workers ang kanilang dedikasyon at compassion.
“On behalf of Villar Foundation, the award is given to Hon. Cynthia Villar, Senator of the Republic of the Philippines. Through their invaluable support, the Villar Foundation has collaborated with the Ople Center to provide financial assistance to victims of human trafficking, offering a lifeline to those in dire need,” read the citation.
Beyond this, their commitment to the well-being of our Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) has been demonstrated through their involvement and dedication in campaigns on financial literacy and reintegration, empowering our migrant workers with knowledge and skills necessary to build a more secure future,” ayon pa sa citation. Isinagawa ang awarding ceremony sa 20th Anniversary ng Ople Center sa AMOSUP center sa Intramuros nitong August 28.
