Why SMNI is integral to the success of NTF-ELCAC, AFP/PNP, and the Filipino people?

1. The close collaboration between SMNI and the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC), particularly with the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the Philippine National Police (PNP), has been instrumental in the government’s comprehensive strategy to combat local communist armed conflict. Through strategic communication (Stratcom) initiatives, SMNI and NTF-ELCAC have effectively countered the propaganda machinery of the Communist Terrorist Groups (CTGs).
2. A standout achievement of this collaboration was the successful Ambassador of Truth Tour in the US and Europe, highlighting the international engagement in information warfare. SMNI’s coverage of the tour and subsequent exposés, such as the revelations from the Friend Rescued (FR) individuals at a Senate hearing, shed light on the radicalization and recruitment tactics of the CPP-NPA-NDF.
3. SMNI has also played a crucial role in uncovering the falsehoods and deceit of the CTGs through its coverage of events like the Lumad School Offensives and Manilakbayan campaigns. This include enhanced collaboration of SMNI with the Indigenous Peoples in Mindanao in advocating & fulfilling their four (4) Bundles of Rights & thirty-six (36) Specific Rights in the ICCs/IPs Ancestral Domains.
4. The daily program, Laban Kasama ng Bayan (LKAB), in collaboration with the Stratcom cluster, has been pivotal in raising public awareness about the terrorist activities of the CPP-NPA-NDF or CTGs.
