Why there is no rape in KOJC

Why there is no rape in KOJC

REFUTING False Allegations that several women, especially minors, purportedly, have been victimized by Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy.

First and foremost, the Kingdom of Jesus Christ is a religious community with a set of dogma and principles based on the Word of God.

Under the leadership of Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy, founder and spiritual leader, members and missionaries are entitled to their freedom to worship which is enshrined in the Constitution – that no state authority or state instrumentalities should be used to abridge or violate or deny one’s exercise of religion or belief.

This is a manifesto from the KOJC community worldwide which denounces the malicious allegations and false attributions to our Beloved Pastor, Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy.

We believe that he is innocent.

We believe that rape is a serious crime that is punishable by law. However, trial by publicity will not determine the guilt or innocence of Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy.

We believe that these forms of oppression are part and parcel of his being the Appointed Son of God.

We believe that truth and justice will prevail.

In KOJC, the cardinal rule is respecting your freedom of choice.

In KOJC, this is the highest form of human rights.

A Kingdom member or a missionary worker is not forced or does not allow himself/herself to do anything against his/her will. If anyone feels that his freedom of choice is being  abused or violated, he or she is free to go.

Once enlisted, a Kingdom full-time worker signs himself/herself to a life of discipline and uncompromising spirituality.

This is a choice that demands sacrifice, self-denial and setting aside personal comforts and personal interests. However, when one does not feel happy anymore about this choice, he/she can withdraw his decision and request for discharge as a missionary.

2. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨 𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐊𝐎𝐉𝐂 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐨𝐝.

In KOJC, each Kingdom Citizen must present his/her body as a “living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is (your) reasonable service” (Romans 12:1)

This requires “cleansing ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.”

(2 Corinthians 7:1)

That is why when a person decides to become a Kingdom Citizen, there is the process of spiritual rebirth or being born again in the Spirit (John 3:5)

The old life of sin which is dominated by the flesh, or the human will is always in opposition to the will of the Father.

The flesh leads man by carnal and selfish desires and makes it unclean (Ephesians 5:3)

By repentance, the body of sin is destroyed (Romans 6:6); and we are made as new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17) walking in the Spirit, in order to destroy the lust of the flesh (Galatians 5:16).

3. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨 𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐊𝐎𝐉𝐂 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐞𝐱𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐦𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐊𝐎𝐉𝐂.

Sexual immorality, rape, fornication, pornography and other forms of perversion falls under the ‘works of the flesh.’ These represent carnality and are listed under Galatians 5:19-21 with the warning that “those who do such things will not inherit or will have no part in the kingdom of God.”

Between and among KOJC men and women members, lustful and impure thoughts are taboo. The word of God says, “That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.” (Matthew 5:28)

This is a spiritual principle that is strictly observed in the Kingdom.

4. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨 𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐊𝐎𝐉𝐂 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐊𝐎𝐉𝐂.

In KOJC, women are not the ‘weaker sex’ but are treated as equals with men. Women are given the chance to be trained as leaders and administrators as men are trained towards ministerial and evangelism work.

As every Kingdom Citizen is part of a spiritual family, the relationship between men and women in KOJC is kept within the limits of propriety and civility. Each one is treated as a brother or a sister; a son or a daughter after the firstborn Son, our Beloved Pastor.

Single blessedness is considered as the ‘last step higher’ towards purification: a choice to remain single to be ‘married’ to the Kingdom ministry is a ‘better choice.’ (1 Corinthians 7:38).

While marriage is not discouraged, the guidelines on which marital union is rooted is “What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.” (Matthew 19:6).

It is crucial to note that the source of these malicious imputations to the person of Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy are the former full-time miracle workers who absconded from their commitment as Kingdom Citizens.

While it was their decision to withdraw their enlistment, it should also be considered that they have engaged in offenses and spiritual lapses while they were still part of KOJC.

As in any organization, there are sets of rules and regulations and violations thereof will make a KOJC member or missionary subject to disciplinary action and penalties.

Former KOJC members (Alias ‘Amanda’ and a certain Arlene Stone, and others who were unnamed), who were active in spreading lies about the pastor and the ministry, were engaged in acts of misconduct, particularly carnal or immoral in nature.

They left because they avoided being disciplined and corrected. They left for fear of being exposed that while they were enlisted as Kingdom missionaries, they were also involved in spiritual offenses such as fornication, seduction and other acts of lasciviousness.

These acts of carnality are reprehensible, especially for women like them, who formerly have represented themselves as members or missionaries of a religious organization.

What these ex-workers have committed is an affront to the religious sensibilities of KOJC, offensive to our values and Kingdom culture.

KOJC stands for the spiritual principles that it was founded upon – that the unrighteous, the unclean, and the liars will never take part in the Kingdom of heaven.
