43-qualified families in Marikina received 15K livelihood assistance from DSWD

THE DSWD NCR Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) distributed livelihood assistance to 43 qualified families in Marikina City this 23rd of May.

Each family has received 15K livelihood assistance that they can use to start and grow their businesses.

Beneficiaries also underwent financial literacy training conducted by SLP. This is to help participants in running their business and to be educated on responsible money handling.

Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) is a capability-building program of the Department of Welfare and Social Development (DSWD) that aims to raise the standard of livelihood of Filipinos through service-related assistance that strengthens the skills, experience, and capabilities of participants toward sustainable and a profitable business and job.
