Davao de Oro pledges ‘no political color’ in service and governance

DESPITE the noise and differences in political colors, in the recent Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) in Davao de Oro, the swearing-in of the newly elected officials transpired peacefully and smoothly.

Alongside the oath-taking of the new officers, the winners, known as ‘Team Walang Iwanan’ or ‘Team No One Left Behind,’ promised not to recognize any political color in their jurisdictions when it comes to service and nation-building.

In an interview with SMNI News, Davao de Oro Vice Gov. Jayvee Tyroon Uy encouraged his fellow citizens to support the government and its commendable programs.

“Let us support the government, especially the administration of our President Marcos, and Vice President Inday Sara Duterte, and those currently in government. As long as we see programs that will benefit the people,” according to Jayvee Tyroon Uy, Davao de Oro.

“I started the advocacy against terrorism, particularly against CPP-NPA-NDF. We have become insurgency-free in 2022, and we want to sustain it because we see the gain that bears fruit from the efforts made during the past year, and we have seen the significant benefits felt by ordinary people here in Davao de Oro,” he added.

As the day concludes, there is hope for a more prosperous and orderly future in Pantukan and the entire Davao de Oro.

Unity, unbiased service, and dedication to the welfare of the people will serve as the foundation for genuine progress.
