THOUSANDS of key leaders and supporters from the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) in the National Capital Region (NCR) gathered for the “Power and Freedom Restore to the Nation” (KAKISAB) Prayer Rally at Bonifacio Plaza in Manila.
Despite the scorching hot weather, KOJC members stood firm in rallying for justice against the oppression faced by Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy and Sonshine Media Network International (SMNI).
Among the attendees of the prayer rally were the women of KOJC, who refuted the accusations made by witnesses of Sen. Risa Hontiveros.
One of them is Tring Tormis, a Full-Time Miracle Missionary (FTMM) coordinator in KOJC for over three decades.
“All their allegations regarding women are untrue because in my 32 years here in the Kingdom Nation, we haven’t seen Pastor commit any of the lies they’re claiming.”
“Pastor is the only one who teaches us, especially the women here in the Kingdom Nation, to have dignity and Pastor teaches us how to be dignified women in the Kingdom Nation,” according to Tring Tormis, KOJC Coordinator.
Tormis also refuted the accusations hurled by her biological sister, Arlene Caminong-Stone, and others who made accusations against the KOJC.
She also criticized Sen. Risa Hontiveros, alleging that she only sides with what she called as fake witnesses in the Senate.
Aside from Tormis, other women from KOJC, who have been in service for a long time, also spoke up in defense of Pastor Apollo.
“I don’t believe in those accusations because firstly, Pastor is the one fighting for and advocating for women’s rights. Pastor is also fighting against the CPP-NPA-NDF— the number one human rights violator that violates women’s rights. Many are raped and abused [by CPP-NPA-NDF], but only Pastor is bravely fighting against it,” said Uela Marie Abunda, Full-Time Miracle Missionary, KOJC.
“I’ve been here since I was a child and I’m also one of the beneficiaries of the Appointed Son of Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy. All those accusations are baseless. Pastor Apollo has a big heart for us,” said Carla Tormon, Full-Time Miracle Missionary, KOJC.
“To all those accusing Pastor, believe us, we’re inside the Kingdom, and we’ve remained here up to this day,” Lilibeth Beroy, FTMM, KOJC said.
Real pastorals of KOJC, who have been with Pastor Apollo for several years, also bravely faced the so-called witnesses at the Senate.
“Firstly, I know you, we were together in the Pastoral [Department], and you know who Pastor is. I will testify, fight, and protect Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy as a pastoral,” Shiela Ponsica, FTMM, Pastoral Dept, KOJC stated.
“I’m ready to fight for Pastor because all the allegations are not true. All their accusations are just fabricated, and all the witnesses they brought to the Senate were bought with money,” Ponsica said.
“Pastor, thank you very much for everything, because you changed my life. If not for you, I wouldn’t be here now. My life would be meaningless if I were outside [of the KOJC,” Ponsica added.
“They are the people I used to be with, and I can say I know them very well inside. They are the ones who did a lot of wrong things inside [the KOJC], and they couldn’t take the correction given to them, so they left and to protect themselves, they turned things around and made up stories,” Charissa Corbo, FTMM, Pastoral Dept, KOJC said.
“Pastor, thank you very much for all the years I spent in the kingdom, all you gave was love, and you stood as a father to me,” Corbo added.
Despite the accusations to destroy Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, millions of brethren whose lives have been transformed by his goodness stands in solidarity with him, and will continue to shout for justice.
