A P96.49-million asset preservation and preventive maintenance program has been completed by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) – Bulacan 2nd District Engineering Office (DEO) in the City of Meycauayan.
The project involved 333 linear meters of road reblocking and 1.223 kilometers of asphalt overlay along the K0025+766.50 to K0026+899 sections of the Camalig–Bahay Pari Road, a tertiary route connecting residential areas, commercial establishments, and public facilities.
This initiative addressed road deterioration, such as potholes and surface cracks, improving road safety, ride quality, and accessibility for motorists, commuters, and local residents.
By upgrading these sections, traffic flow is expected to significantly improve, with smoother pavement and clearer markings enhancing visibility, mobility, and access to schools, markets, and health centers.
