DOT joins Pampamahalaang Programa for Independence Day celebration

THE Department of Tourism (DOT) participated in the two-day Pampamahalaang Programa at Serbisyo held on June 11–12, 2025, at the Rizal Park in Manila, as part of the 127th Philippine Independence Day celebration.

The DOT joined over 50 national government agencies and offices, with nearly 150 booths collectively showcasing a wide range of public services and government programs aimed at bringing essential services closer to the people.

Among the major components of the event were the Kadiwa ng Pangulo, which provided access to fresh produce and locally made goods, and the Klinikalayaan initiative, which offered free health consultations along with basic medical, dental, and optical services to the public.

The DOT booth highlighted the “Love The Philippines” campaign and featured two main service counters: one for the DOT Accreditation Caravan and another for the promotion of key tourism destinations and attractions in Metro Manila and other regions.

To enhance the visitor experience, the DOT also offered traditional Filipino sorbetes, blending cultural appreciation with tourism promotion.
