MATAPOS ang isang insidente kung saan sangkot ang isang Russian vlogger ay mariing kinokondena ng Department of Tourism (DOT) ang anumang uri ng pang-aabuso na ginagawa ng mga turista laban sa mga Pilipino.
Ito ay isang paalala na hindi tinatanggap ng bansa ang ganitong klaseng pagtrato sa ating mga kababayan.
Viral ngayon sa social media ang mga video ni Russian vlogger na si Vitaly Zdorovetskiy, kung saan makikita ang kanyang pangha-harass at pang-iinsulto sa ilang Pilipino sa Bonifacio Global City, na ginawa lamang para sa content.
Dahil dito, umano siya ng matinding batikos mula sa netizens.
Kasunod ng insidente, mariing kinondena ng Department of Tourism (DOT) ang anumang uri ng pang-aabuso ng mga turista laban sa mga Pilipino.
“The Department of Tourism strongly condemns any abuse by any tourist upon our fellow Filipinos here in the country. Our country is well-known for its unparalleled hospitality and propensity to provide our guests with love and warmth and the feeling of being a family. Therefore the DOT does not tolerate any form of abuse,” ayon kay Sec. Christina Garcia Frasco.
Ayon pa kay Sec. Christina Garcia Frasco, buong suporta nila ang hakbang ng mga awtoridad, lalo na ng Bureau of Immigration, laban kay Russian vlogger Vitaly Zdorovetskiy.
“We fully support our law enforcement agencies including the Bureau of Immigration in ensuring that the offending tourist is able to be meted out by the penalty under the law and suffers the consequences of having mistreated Filipinos in the country.We campaign for the world to love the Philippines but that love and respect must be reciprocated,” saad ni Frasco.
Inaresto ng Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) si Vitaly Zdorovetskiy sa isang hotel sa Pasay City nitong Miyerkules.
Habang wala pang hearing, mananatili muna sa kustodiya ng Bureau of Immigration si Vitaly at hindi ito ide-deport.
Ayon sa Department of the Interior and Local Government, mananagot ang naturang vlogger sa batas ng Pilipinas.
