DPWH Bulacan 2nd DEO holds Photo Storytelling Challenge for National Women’s Month

THE Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) – Bulacan 2nd District Engineering Office (DEO) conducted a Photo Storytelling Challenge on March 19, 2025, in celebration of National Women’s Month (NWM).

The activity provided employees with an opportunity to creatively portray women’s contributions to society through photography, in line with the theme “Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas.”

District Engineer George Santos highlighted the importance of recognizing women’s roles across all sectors, noting their influence is crucial in shaping the nation’s future.

“Entries were evaluated based on relevance, creativity, originality, technical quality, and overall impact. This challenge allowed our team to reflect on how women drive progress in every field,” Santos stated.

The event also featured food carts and refreshments, providing a festive atmosphere where district personnel could relax, connect, and bond over snacks and drinks.

The initiative underscores the Bulacan 2nd DEO’s dedication to promoting gender equality and cultivating an inclusive workplace where all staff can thrive and contribute equally.
