THE Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) hosted a Safe Sport Workshop over the last weekend which served as a consultation platform among all National Sports Associations (NSA) in establishing a mechanism for sporting venue free from abuse and harassment.
Chairman Richard Bachmann and Comm. Olivia ‘Bong’ Coo, in-charge for coaches and athletes’ welfare, graced the program held at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex in Manila.
“The PSC recognizes the urgent need to educate the sports community on jumpstarting a concrete safeguarding policy across all NSAs,” Coo stated.
