Former President Duterte trusts Sen. Dela Rosa’s probe on PDEA leaks

FORMER President Rodrigo Duterte expressed full confidence in the Senate’s probe regarding the PDEA leaks linking President Bongbong Marcos to illegal drug use.

The Senate Committee on Public Order and Dangerous Drugs, chaired by Sen. Ronald Bato Dela Rosa, leads the investigation on the said issue.

Former President Duterte said Sen. dela Rosa is a sincere and competent government official, that is why he said he trusts that the truth will emerge in the investigation by the Senate Committee on Public Order and Dangerous Drugs regarding the PDEA leaks.

“Trust Bato. He’s from PMA, a competent official, and straightforward in his life. For the longest time, they work for me, his good and he will be a leader of our country, we will learn to be the protector of people’s interest,” FPRRD said.

During Tuesday’s session, the committee continued its investigation regarding the confidential PDEA documents.

Actress Maricel Soriano participated in the hearing, one of the individuals implicated in the PDEA leaks issue allegedly alongside Marcos Jr., who purportedly uses cocaine.

The actress denied being a cocaine user but admitted to owning the condo unit mentioned in the document allegedly involved in illegal drugs.

It can be recalled that former President Rodrigo Duterte previously stated that Marcos Jr. is involved in illegal drug use and was included in the PDEA’s narco list.
