UMABOT sa kabuuang 996 wanted persons ang naaresto ng National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) sa buwan ng Enero.
“The 996 wanted persons arrested were composed mainly of 301 most wanted persons, 32 district wanted persons, 269 station wanted persons, and 394 other wanted persons,” pahayag ni NCRPO chief Maj. Gen. Vicente Danao Jr.
Ayon kay Danao, sa limang distrito ng NCRPO ang Manila Police District ang may pinakamataas na bilang ng naarestong wanted persons na may 373.
Sa naturang bilang, 138 ang most wanted persons, 26 district wanted persons, 112 station wanted persons at 97 iba pang wanted persons.
Sinundan naman ito ng Southern Police District na may 318; Northern Police District, 174; Eastern Police District, 108.
Samantala, ang Quezon City Police District ang nakapagtala ng mababang bilang ng nahuling wanted persons na may 23.
Mula sa bilang, anim ang most wanted persons, anim ang station wanted persons, at 11 iba pang wanted persons.
“Despite this accomplishment, however, let us not sit on our laurels but be more vigorous in the implementation of our continued campaign against wanted persons. Let us altogether ensure that justice is duly served and that these persons were presented before the court to answer for the charges filed against them,” ani Danao.
