Israel, Hamas agree to deliver medicines to civilians, hostages in Gaza

ISRAEL and Hamas authorized access to critical humanitarian aid and medicines in Gaza earlier today.

The delivery was agreed on in a deal brokered by Qatar on Wednesday.

It will be delivered to civilians and hostages in the war-torn enclave.

The medicine and aid would be transported from Doha and arrive at the Egyptian city of El-Arish before it will be delivered to the Gaza Strip, according to Qatar’s Foreign Ministry.

Forty-five hostages will receive medication under the Qatari-brokered agreement.

The distribution of aid will go on for three months, as confirmed by the government of France.

More than 1,200 people from Israel died at the hands of Hamas after the October 7 attack.

Meanwhile, the death toll from Israel’s military offensive has exceeded 24,000 since then.
