LABOR Secretary Bienvenido E. Laguesma, together with the Department Undersecretaries, Assistant Secretaries, and Heads of Regional Offices, Bureaus, Services, and Attached Agencies, conduct the department’s annual planning exercise in Quezon City on 22 January 2025.
Heads of Employment and Human Resource Development, Workers’ Welfare and Protection, Labor Relations, Policy, International Affairs, and Regional Operations, and the Legislative Liaison, Legal Affairs, and General Administration Clusters led the activity by presenting their insights, challenges, and innovative strategies to continue advancing decent work, empower Filipino workforce, and build a more inclusive and sustainable future for the Philippines.
In his message, the Labor Chief encouraged the department officials and employees that as they deliberate their plans for 2025, they should as well embrace the process with a deep sense of purpose and unity grounded in the principle of the whole-of-government approach and echoing the vision of the current administration of an inclusive and transformative Bagong Pilipinas.
