“Sa Build Build Build at ang ELCAC po na program, ‘yung dalawa po talagang it really had an impact in Mindanao, even here in Kidapawan City, we really felt the impact of the whole of nation approach— we were able to declare several barangays insurgency-free because of the ELCAC program. At sa Build Build Build po, we feel, kung compare dati, medyo lubak-lubak po ‘yung daan dati, right now all barangay is already interconnected with the Build Build Build program and the programs of the LGU,” ayon kay Mayor Pao Evangelista, Kidapawan City.

“When FPRRD was president, he really issued strong words against sa mga drug users, drug abusers, and then drug pushers and backed it up with actions,”
dagdag nito.

“When he was a president po, we really felt safety in Kidapawan City, pwede po kayong maglakad sa daan, sa gabi, not feeling any crime or any person possible na gumawa ng krimen. It was a very peaceful time in the Philippines and we yearn for that, we miss those times and we hope with our sentiments being heard by the government, ay sana po maibalik po natin ang panahon na iyon,” aniya.

“During the rally last March 28, dami umattend po sa rally namin. It reached us 20,000 attendees, of course, not as many as Davao City, but we are a very small city, but we were able to gather more or less 20,000. It shows the love of the people for the former president,” aniya.

“I cannot stay silent on this issue. It’s my moral obligation to lead my people, listen to their sentiments, and their sentiments really show we need to have genuine reforms in our country.”

“Kasi po, nasa Saligang Batas naman po natin na we have the right to call out the government to give our address for the grievances natin sa government. We have the right to peacefully protest, we have the right to peacefully assemble to call out the government. It’s our constitutional right.”

“Kung nasa tama po tayo, I don’t think we have anything to fear. My voice matters and I think the people will look up to me to make their voices be heard in the national scene.”

“It’s a privilege to be noticed nationwide para po marinig din po ng Pilipinas kung ano po yung mga hinanaing ng mga taga-Kidapawan City,” aniya.
