THE Strengthened Women’s Association of Calangay in Sta. Maria Laguna received Php 150,000 livelihood grant as a beneficiary of the Mag Negosyo Ta ‘Day (MTD) Program of the Office of the Vice President (OVP).
The primary purpose of their organization is to supply rice to their area.
MTD is one of OVP’s programs to address unemployment and provide livelihood assistance to Filipinos among vulnerable and disadvantaged sectors, women, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
OVP continues to provide programs and services that have a long-term impact on the lives of Filipinos.
