Roller coaster disaster in Japan leaves passengers stranded in mid-air

‘THE Flying Dinosaur’ roller coaster at Universal Studios in Osaka, Japan left 32 passengers suspended about 40 meters above ground earlier this week.

A five-second clip of the incident has gone viral since it was posted on social media platform X.

The passengers were seen suspended in mid-air with their heads facing the ground.

The passengers were evacuated safely and no one sustained any injuries. It is still unclear what caused the roller coaster to stop mid-air. The ride was safe after an hour and a half of tests conducted by engineers.

A similar incident involving the Flying Dinosaur roller coaster happened in 2018 when more than 60 passengers were stuck in mid-air for up to two hours.
